La Graciosa

La Graciosa is probably one of the few places in Europe where there are still no tarmac roads. It is the most unknown and the one that lavishes most serenity of the entire Canarian Archipelago. Although the origin of the name is unknown, it might be due to the fascinating colours of its beaches and volcanic mountains, and how these change from dawn to dusk, painting different landscapes that evolute from different tones of red to yellow through the entire spectre of browns and ochres. Who ever seeks a place that is different will be thrilled by this charming and perfect suited island. La Graciosa is a flat island, where four very different volcanic unities stand out, the one called Las Agujas with its 266 meters being the highest.
